Twisted Pixel has a fan for life. After The Maw and Splosion Man, I thought that these developers had nowhere to go but down with their next game, but Comic Jumper is a beaut! Thoughts?
The Maw was a good game. I wasn't really into 'Splosion Man though. I know a lot of people loved it though.
I'm going to download the trial sometime in the near future. I need to see what all of the fuss is about. However, I'm a bit of a penny pincher, so it'll have to wow me to entice a purchase.
I thought the Maw was pretty good, loved Splosion Man, Comic Jumper...
Well, I think the presentation is f'ing fantastic. I think the gameplay is not.
It's repetitive. Very. It's not bad by any means, just... Well, I guess 'Splosion Man and The Maw were both repetitive in a way as well..
I guess I'm just not all that into sidescrolling shooters is all.
Still, it's very, very well done and I have no problems whatsoever contributing to the company even though the game is not my personal fave. So far, they've still done no wrong in my book.
@the1npc Yer gawddamright it's hard. Took me a few times to figure out how to defeat the purple dinosaur. And if you haven't gotten there yet.....spoiler alert...
Played it at PAX East, E3 & X10, had a blast each time... I'm so busy now though that I've barely gotten to play my retail titles... I'm still not an Lt. Colonel in Reach! I've missed out on quite a few of the latest great XBLA releases, mostly because I've had little to no time for actual gaming...
Thanks Kay I did a bunch of challenges so now its easier I got alot of money cause trying to beat my (pathetic) score on them is addicting I am not on the last silver age level.
