Am I the only one experiencing lagging issues on DoG?

I end up having to click on the links several time, or the pages never load. It's quite annoying. And since I've never heard of someone mentioning the issue, maybe I'm an isolated case?

I just thought I smoked too much last night and entered a bit of a time warp this morning. DoG has successfully disrupted the space-time continuum.

Yeah I hear its been lagging last night. I haven't noticed it happening personally in a long time but I think its the problem with our web host. It used to happen much more often and I thought it had gone away. :/ Blerg.

Its possible we may transfer the site to a new web host this year to improve reliability. I'm just worried about fucking up the site while transitioning to the new server.

I'm hoping that when we get on a new web host (or if our current hosting provider can get its shit together) that it will fix the issue. Beyond that I don't know what it could be.

If the site is acting weird thats one thing but when it lags out, thats got to be the host.

TL;DR - its nothing I'm doing. I swear.

Well, it's basically happening all the time on my side, but I ain't as impatient as today :P I'm sure it's not your fault, but I thought I'd let you know in case you didn't.

It doesn't happen all the time for me, but quite often the site doesn't even load, it'll load a page then not load anything else. It usually happens late at night for me.

@Rajio Do you have an analytics package on your Web host for viewing traffic and bandwidth usage? We may want to take a peak at this or install one to properly gauge the issues.

I noticed lagging this past weekend at various times, but it seems okay now.

It looks okay right now for me too, so maybe I've always been here during the night and haven't noticed.

yeah the host has some analytics junk. i also have google analytics set up. doesnt seem to be unusual loads at night.

The main time I have lag issues on this site is at night as well. During the day it's usually pretty good, but it seems most, if not all nights, I have issues sometimes even just coming to the site.

(posting from my iPad from Topeka, Kansas. I have been lurking around a wee bit, but haven't been posting. Trying to get the mass amount of unread posts down a bit. Especially now since there's jack fucking shit to do in Kansas lol)
