  • Finally got around to watching season 10 of x-files and season 6 of Game of Thrones.

X-files ended up, for the most part, being pretty decent, even with the huge break between seasons. The third episode with that lizard dude actually turned out to be one of my favorites of the whole series.

Game of Thrones was pretty good but feels like it's starting to stagnate. I hope the wrap it up soon and go out on a high note.

I just finished watching season 1 of Riverdale on Netflix. The show was really good the whole way and man was the finale really good. I cant believe they took these characters from this silly comic where everyone is a goofy do-gooder and made it into a great mystery crime drama.

I watched the first 5 seasons and couldn't get into it. I might watch 6 but I don't know . I tried to keep watching because of how people talk about how great it is but I didn't find it great at all.

just seven episodes coming for season 7 and season 8 (which is confirmed to be the last) will have six episodes

i think the characters are still some of the best in any TV show ever and the battles have been incredible

more than enough to keep me interested

hopefully with less episodes in the next two seasons we'll get more focused storytelling and less fillerish side plots

Riverdale was awesome all the way through indeed. We're far from the candyland world the comics aimed for. So much a darker place than i remembered.

Also, i'd do Veronica and Cherryl, they're HOT!!

  • Law212Law212 Centurion

Id go for Veronica and her mom......

Anyway F is for family season 2 is out on Netflix. Go check this show out if you haven't before, its hilarious.

  • I've finally gotten around to watching the original Twin Peaks. At first I liked it but it really lost its direction after you find out who killed Laura Palmer. Only about 7 episodes from the end now but its starting to get a bit tedious.

American Gods. This show is pretty fucking wacky.

Oh and I watched Better Call Saul and Fargo, Season 3, and enjoyed both very much.

Fargo was probably the best cast so far.

  • Fargo is always great. i can't believe they haven't renewed it yet for a fourth season

  • DoosDoos Centurion

It's not renewed? Hell, you're right! Well, it'll come. That show is a pretty fun time.

  • Browsing tv shows on the android box I came across one I remember seeing a trailer for on bloodbath and beyond.

Its called Blood Drive. Its so fun. Its about a race (just like death race) but the cars run on human blood , so they feed people into the engines of the car for fuel....

This is so much fun. I'm only on episode 3 right now but I love it

  • @Law212 I saw a bit of an episode on Space once, it was neat.

Lately I've been watching Dark Matter (half-way through season 2) on Netflix, and recently found out it was cancelled after season 3 (creators had planned for a 5 season story). I really need to stop enjoying shows that Syfy has anything to do with, they always seem to cancel them :(

I also binged The Mist on Netflix, I wouldn't say I liked it, but I didn't really dislike it either. I'd watch season 2 if it gets it. The movie was so much better than it though, I really enjoyed the movie, it also seems the movie stayed a lot truer to the book than the series does, but I've never read the book, just the synopsis.

  • I saw that on the box but there were too many others im interested in checking out.

I started Game of Thrones a couple weeks ago and now I've finished it.

    It's a fun series.

  • I've watched the first two episodes of The Orville, missed the third one (need a new streaming site), and like it so far. It's funny, smart, and mildly going where no shows went before...kinda...lol

  • Star Trek Discovery, I'm rather excited to see it.

  • I skimmed through star trek discovery.... Looks cool.
    The Orville.... Looks cool.
Lethal weapon season 2 .... cant wait to watch it.
new season of big bang theory.... cant wait.

I was too tired to watch anything last night maybe tonight i can stay away to watch a half hour show.

ya watched Episode 1 and loved it...have to set myself up to stream the rest

  • Do they discover Uranus?

  • Star Trek Discovery was really good. It puts the storyline up front right from the start. And they didn't cheap out on the budget.

  • e rest

last time I checked Uranus isnt a naked eye object....you need a prism and a mirror

  • The pilot ( a prequel to the series )was good. Look forward to the rest of the series.

I just watched Episode 2 of season 2 of Lethal Weapon.... This show kills it EVERY episode. this one was great, as were all the others.... It just stays good. Great show.

  • @law212 I just watched the first episode of the first season last week. It was awesome.
  • Anime is absolutely insane

I have always talked about how in movies and TV you always know the good guy is going to win and the bad guy is going to lose with very few exceptions and that I think you could tell a great story without that being the case.

I just started an anime and finished the first season and it ends with the two main characters getting shot in the head and the bad guy walking away. It was NUTS.
  • Law212Law212 Centurion

Its a lot more common in Japanese movies that the good guys don't always come out on top.

  • Yeah I think that's part of the reason why I like some anime so much. They explore much darker themes where good doesn't always win over bad.
  • It is true we are so accustomed to bad guys losing....

I remember the scene in Princess Bride where Peter Faulk tells his grandson that Wesley was dead. The boy freaks out and says...."he is the good guy... he cant be dead" " Jeesus Grampa what kind of book are you reading me here"

I remember thinking then how bizarre it is that the good guys always ultimately win in the west.

  • You guys really need to put away the web porn and start watching Stranger Things 'cause it's totally tubular...lol

@Ganner Isn't everyone watching Stranger Things? Liked the first season quite a bit and digging the second as well.

Anyone else watching Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency? I'm really digging it. I thought the first season was super fun and watched it when it first showed up on Netflix. Must've dozed off quite a few times though because I watched it again and saw a bunch of shit I didn't remember then I started the second season. (Which is not currently on Netflix because it's being doled out week by week like normal lame TV)

Really love the quirkiness of it all.
