So, presented in an easy to digest, bullet-pointed list, here’s all the salient info posted online. If you’d rather go unspoiled, then you should probably avoid looking.

-You play as Albert DeSilva a half american half puerto rican american
-He is 42 years old and has an ex wife and 2 kids
- the show breaking bad has a little influence on the game as Albert is drawn to the life of crime from an older age for the money.
-You also play as Dougie Vejo a younger criminal just coming up in Los Santos
-Los Santos is the only large city, smaller towns round out the countrtyside.
- Grove Street makes a return, however Carl and Sweet are not in the game.
-Money plays a large part as Albert lost most of his in a ponzi like scheme.
-Property buying is back
-The only customization for characters are clothes/hair/facial hair. no gyms or tattoos
-one or more characters from 4 may show up
-car customization is back, seems more fitting for Dougie however Albert may be going through a midlife crisis.
-the triumphant return of Lovefist!!! or as the band is now known as the Jezzies.
-Songs confirmed so far: My Michelle-Guns and Roses, Magic Power- Triumph, California Dreaming- The beach boys and Beautiful-Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell.
-New mini games include golf, tennis and surfing
- Mission played was called "Alimony" featured the scene from the trailer in which they rob the jewelry store
-Robbery returns only for Dougie, dispensaries are a large source of cash income
-You can switch between Albert and Dougie by holding down the back button(360)
Game autosaves at that point
-Stinger makes a return
-Speculated not confirmed Aziz Ansari voices radio DJ for current hip-hop station

Mortal Kombat

Has anybody check out the new Mortal Kombat yet? A buddy of mine gifted me a copy but what I've experienced in it so far, I gladly would have payed the $60 or whatever for the game if I could have afforded it. I've enjoyed some of the past MK games (UMK3, MK4), but I've never been too big a fan of the series (hated the first 2). This is the first time I've ever been excited for a MK ttile and I have yet to be disappointed. The return to 2D gameplay is very welcome, I could never quite get into the 3D ones, it always felt like they could have been better off without the extra dimension. The actual fighting gameplay itself is smoother than ever and feels great, all characters play differently from one another, all of the basic punch and kick combos are unique to each character. All of my favorite characters of the series are here, among some new twists to the cast. The story mode is rather lengthy, but really well done, fights and cutscenes merge seamlessly, making it feel like a martial arts movie that becomes a video game once the fights start. The challenge tower is quite fun and with 300 challenges, it will take some time to complete. So far my favorite challenge was one where you play as Scorpion and you are tasked with defending your right to hate teddies against Mileena who has made one for you. I haven't dipped into the multiplayer side of things yet, but everything I've experienced in the single player side of things so far has been superb. As a long time Street Fighter fan, I'm surprised to find myself saying I've had way more fun with this than any Street Fighter game I've played, and this is definitely one of the best fighting games I've ever played. If you've had any interest in this, I definitely suggest checking it out.

Innovation of the Next Gen

In the Xbox reveal thread, @Whorror had mentioned how the games that were shown weren't really innovating in that 'Next Gen' type of way.

I know this feeling very well as it's the same feeling I had at the beginning of the current gen. When Sony and MS were starting to talk about their newest consoles and I had that dreamy feeling of 'Oooh.. what could the future bring!?'.

Then it was a lot of the same stuff with prettier graphics.

So, what things would you guys like to see for this new gen of console/game? What do you feel this current gen has brought forth for innovation?

Also, where I'm looking for this discussion to go is what tweaks/additions etc. can be added to the next gen of games that will actually get you excited?

This doesn't have to be exclusive to consoles either.. the Occulus Rift is crazy.. and so is the crazy treadmill thing that can go with it... you guys seen that shit?

Personally, I think we've made some advancements in terms of destruction.

Battlefield games are making moves in that direction.

They're really trying to make things blow up and I like that.

COD added some destructive elements to their maps.. which isn't new to gaming.. but it's new to their games.

The rumble triggers on the new Xbox controller can easily be dismissed as a gimmick or throwaway.. but rumble controllers are a big deal to a lot of people and I personally think that if they can be made to give some force feedback? That's huge.

Other things I want to see are themed achievements.. for both consoles.

When a trophy/achievement pops up, I want it to be themed to the game. I don't want it to look the same every time. It breaks the experience to me.

Since the music thread is so popular, I figured I'd make a concerts thread to post about past and upcoming concerts, experiences at concerts, etc. etc.

Do you like concerts? Have you been to one before? Who have you seen live? Who would you like to see?

I'm a concert junkie. My dad was when he was younger too, so he's been taking me to concerts for the longest time. I absolutely love them, and I go to so many. I haven't been to one in a while and would like to get back into that groove.

My first concert was in June or July, 2005 when I was 11 years old. It was Green Day. I had so much fun. Billy Joe Armstrong was working the crowd with his "warmup exercises" and everybody repeated him. I was always really quiet but when I got to that concert I yelled and sang so much that I basically lost my voice.

Since then, I have been to numerous concerts. I remember that Good Charlotte was my second concert (30 Seconds To Mars opened for them, along with someone else I believe), then Simple Plan. After that, I couldn't tell you the order lol.

I wish I would have kept all my ticket stubs (would be quite the collection!) but unfortunately I've misplaced the majority of them. However, I do own at least one shirt from every single concert I've ever been to (that was paid for, that is).

I'll name off other concerts I've been to at a later time, but right now I'm wondering, have you ever been?

i need to activate another ps3 to my account, but first I have to deactivate the old one that died. now on the support page it says i have to do this from the console which i can't do because of the whole dying thing. there isn't an option to deactivate only one console, so would i do all then reactivate again and redownload? thanks

So let me get the stuff I hate so far. It's a prequel(boo), Rocksteady isn't making it, Warner Brothers Montreal is(sadface).

I watched a video interviewing the staff they game a bit more info it. It takes place in Gotham City on Christmas Eve. 8 Assassins are in Gotham with one goal kill Batman, one of those Assassins will be Deathstroke. So maybe Lady Shiva, David Cain, Deadshot(in his proper outfit) will show up.

I just hope we don't see the Joker at all, a passing reference I'm fine with

TV shows - that stuff between commercials!

Hello Everyone!
So here we are in a day and age with fast food and preservatives. really not the healthiest choices out there!

I challenge all of you including myself to cut that out of our diets!

For an example last night i cooked up a salmon filet with rice and veggies. made a great dinner! and a great lunch today!

I did that instead of going to the store and getting

fish sticks or

McDonald's....

Etc etc etc!

The preservatives and unhealthy choices are everywhere now!

not only did i eat less calories. I added more essential vitamins and nutrients in me!

we can all make goals!

for me

-Quit Drinking Coffee
-Lose weight
-Gain more muscle
-Eating more Veggies
-Eat less red meats
-Drink more water

I know some of these seem like they're easy but once we get into a habit its hard to quit it!

Lets start off slow.

I challenge everyone including myself to stop drinking pop!

- Drink a glass of water instead.

The Second portion of this is Fitness:

I'm not the most educated in this subject, but seeing were starting off small Nike has created a brand about bringing the

workout to your house as it tracks your progress! whether its from a mobile device or from a gaming console like the Xbox.

Here are a few of their workouts apps/games.

(Nike Marketed this towards women, but it works the exact same for men. i have a few friends that use this app and they tell me it kicks their asses every day.)

This really does make it so people can pick it up and workout! It's so easy too, that there shouldn't be any excuses!

With this i challenge you to Start doing some more physical activity!

The Phone app is free and the game costs 50 Dollars new.

You can start on there or find your own way to get more physical activity in!

PS.If someone with more physical experience could add to this that would be awesome!
